Our Story

A Journey of Hope

The journey started in 2010 when Engr. Akram Lodhi lost his eyesight due to Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) associated with night blindness. Inspired by his personal struggle, he decided to dedicate his life to the field of ophthalmology and blindness prevention.

He established Vision Foundation in 2010 under the Societies Act 1860. Later, for improved governance, transparency, and expansion of services, the organization was incorporated with SECP under Section 42 as "Vision Foundation House."
